Since the begining of our reserach group, we created an independent line of research around a pivotal theme of small molecule natural product (NP) synthesis. Our research program has also been shaped by several exciting intra- and extramural collaborations, which allowed us to formulate ambitious goals. The group’s interdisciplinary research unites three strands of organic chemistry: the development of synthetic methodologies, the synthesis of complex natural products and the development of small molecule probes for chemical biology.
